• The P35 battery charger has a user-selected amperage switch for charging at 10, 20, and 35 Amps for 12 volt batteries. For 24 volt batteries the selectable amps are 5, 10, and 18.
• LiFePo4 batteries have internal Battery Management Systems (BMS's), so it is important for the user to select the LiFePo4 charging mode. Doing so lets the BMS control the charging, which will maximize the service life of your batteries.
• The intelligent charger uses a nine-step process to charge batteries, and the user will observe these steps from the charger's liquid crystal display (LCD). The amperage will take about one minute to reach the selected value before reaching the "absorption" phase.
• The LCD will show the charging voltage, current, and battery temperature.
• Protections include over-charging. As the charger draws up to 35 amps, the charger has a heavy duty cooling fan and a large heat sink, and the noise the charger makes is as designed. Once the battery is fully charged, the charger will go into maintenance mode ("trickle charge").
• Please note that the "Repair" function is for flooded lead-acid batteries and not LiFePo4 batteries. This function is a Desulfator, and may not always work on "dead" batteries.
