1. Loosen band clamps on either side of the mass air flow sensor. Unplug the electrical air sensor. | 2. Loosen band clamp connecting the intake pipe to the throttle body,then remove the intake hose and throttle body. | 3. Remove the air filter box and air filter. |
4. Remove the he old insulation panel underneath,assemble the new metal heat shield with the provided hardware. | 5. Attach the 90° silicon elbow with the shorter side facing the engine. Next, install the air intake pipe to the silicon elbow. Carefully install the provided band clamps.Then attach the silicon boot to the intake pipe and connect the other side of the boot to the mass air flow sensor housing. | 6. Connect the sensor housing to the filter assembly. Once all parts are connected and lined up, tighten all band clamps to secure all joints. Plug in air sensor harness and reconnect the negative battery terminal. Installation is ok!! |
