1. Why doesn’t the solar string light come on even though it has been charged for hours?

(1) The solar panel only charges when the switch is in the ON position.

If the lights are dead, please put the unit in the sun for an hour and then cover the solar panel total. If the light is on, the button is in the ON position.

If not, press the button again and leave the unit in the sun for another hour. Cover the solar panel again and it should light up.

(2) Make sure the solar panel is located in a sunny place and not in the shade, which means the solar panel should be exposed to sunlight.
