Eco Mode ECO Mode allows you to maximize your Spyder's fuel economy by up to 20% over the stock ratings. Its slower response also allows for better traction over terrains like snow, rain, mud, dirt, etc.	City Mode Customer favorite, City Mode, gives your Spyder the response of an "old school" throttle cable, with a 1:1 pedal-to-throttle ratio. This mode is popular among daily drivers as it gives your Can-Am Spyder a perfect balance of performance and practicality.	Sport Mode Sport Mode is a favorite amongst spirited drivers looking to get-up-and-go. This mode allows for a significantly increased throttle response, and is not for the light-hearted. If you're looking to make your 4.0 commute more exciting, use Sport Mode.	Sport+ Mode Sport+ Mode is the most extreme mode we have to offer. Its extreme high performance response allows your Can-Am Spyderto accelerate like a race car. This mode should be used with caution!

1. Use the flat head screwdriver to pop out the small round screw cover on the base of the throttle assembly
2. Unscrew the Torx T30 screw
3. Pull the base of the assembly slightly up and forwards
4. The throttle is connected with a wiring harness. Pinch the sides and it pulls right off.

INSTALLATION

1. Turn off Ignition.

2. Keep your key fob (if applicable) at least 35 ft. (10m) away from your Can-Am Spyder. This prevents your car from using power to transmit signals to your proximity key fob sensor.

3. Leave your driver’s door open for 15 minutes to allow your ECU to shut down completely.

4. Locate and disconnect your accelerator pedal assembly plug.

5. Plug in your Pedal Commander in line with your accelerator pedal assembly plug until you hear a “click.”

6. Make sure the cables are tucked in place so they do not interfere with your driving experience.

7. Place and mount the Pedal Commander to your desired location using the velcro and mounting bracket that's included in the box.

IMPORTANT

To avoid receiving check engine lights or other issues, it is important that you follow these instructions properly. Also, please ensure that you hear a “click” sound while connecting the plugs, as this signifies a secure connection.
