AlterLock is designed to deter theft by a sounding a loud alarm of volume up to 95dB, when motion is detected, to alert people around you and the thieft that something is up. The detection sensitivity and alarm sounding time (and may other settings) can be adjusted to accommodate a variety of situations. [Transmission function] When the device detects movement, anti-theft system is triggered and the app will alert you with a unique sound to let you know when you need to rush to the location immediately. The data is sent via LTE-M network, meaning, you can receive notification regardless of distance as long as the device is within data coverage area. [GPS Tracking] If the vehicle with AlterLock installed is stolen, AlterLock will attempt to receive signals from either GNSS (GPS & Galileo), Wi-Fi, and 4G cellphone tower to track the last known position of the device then inform its user. [Installation] The Gen3 system can be easily attached to the bottle cage base of a sports bicycle with the included security bolt/wrench. The Gen3 can also be stored under a seat of a motorcycle or stowed in a location away from high temperature.
