Exposure Profile Target Mini is a successor of Exposure Profile Target II. As the name suggests, it is about 50% smaller than the previous target so it’s easier for users to carry. It’s two-sided. An 18% Gray Card side is used to custom-balance digital camera’s gray (white) balance before profiling. The other side has an 18% gray patch at the center, surrounded by 24 gray patches arranged in 1/6th stop values that are successively brighter and darker. It offers faster and more accurate testing, requiring only three shots to gather a wide range of exposure data from the camera’s imaging system. The first shot is made at the normal metered exposure. The second shot at -3EV below the metered exposure. The third shot at +3EV above the metered exposure. The Exposure Profile Target Mini is fully compatible with the FREE Data Transfer Software and L-858D, L-478 series, and L-758DR/Cine to profile your workflow. This allows your meter to compensate for exposure based on the lens, camera, and image profile you are using.
